Complete Club Distance Tracking

Know your true distances

Every Club Tracked

Driver through wedges to putter. Build complete distance data for every club in your bag.

Carry vs Total Distance

Track both carry (where it lands) and total (where it stops). Critical for different conditions.

Distance Statistics

See average, max, min, and standard deviation for each club. Know your consistency.

Conditions Tracking

Track distances in different conditions: temperature, wind, elevation, wet/dry. Know how conditions affect you.

Distance Trends

See if you're gaining or losing distance over time. Track impact of fitness, equipment, or swing changes.

Gap Analysis

Identify distance gaps in your set. Maybe you need to add or remove a club.

Build Your Yardage Book

GPS tracking makes it easy

  1. Mark Your ShotsUse GPS to mark where shots start and land. App calculates distance automatically.
  2. Track Multiple ShotsTrack 10+ shots per club for accurate averages. More data = more accurate yardage book.
  3. Reference On CourseCheck your yardage book during rounds. Know exactly which club for any distance.

Why Club Distance Tracking Matters

Better decisions = more greens = lower scores

Better Club Selection

No more guessing between clubs. Know your 7-iron goes 155 and your 6-iron goes 168. Pick right every time.

More Greens Hit

Correct club selection leads to more GIR. Even 1-2 more greens per round = 1 stroke better.

Know Your Consistency

See dispersion for each club. Maybe your 7-iron is consistent but 4-iron varies wildly. Play accordingly.

Adjust for Conditions

Know how much you lose in cold weather or gain at altitude. Make smart adjustments.

Equipment Decisions

Testing new clubs? Compare distances to old clubs. Make data-driven equipment decisions.

Track Distance Gains

Working on speed training? Track if you're actually gaining distance. Measure progress objectively.

Club Distance Questions

How many shots do I need to track per club?
We recommend at least 10 shots per club for reliable averages. 20+ shots gives you highly accurate data. Track both practice and on-course shots.
Should I track practice range distances?
Yes, but note they may differ from on-course! Many golfers hit 5-10 yards shorter on course due to pressure and real consequences.
How accurate is GPS distance measurement?
GPS is accurate to within 3-5 yards, which is more than sufficient for building a yardage book. Over multiple shots, averages are very accurate.
What's the difference between carry and total distance?
Carry is where the ball lands. Total is where it stops after rolling. On firm greens, carry matters more. On soft greens, total matters more.
Should I track distances with different ball flights?
Yes! If you can hit a full 7-iron, 3/4 7-iron, and knock-down 7-iron, track all three. More options = better course management.
How often should I update my distances?
Re-check distances every 3-6 months or after equipment changes. Your distances will change as you improve or due to age/fitness.
